Bird Hide Photography Tour Portugal 8 Days

Portugal, 8 days trip, 6 days private bird hide photography.

Minimum 1 photographer, maximum 3 photographers.

Depending on the season there are always at least 3 bird hides available for bird photography. During the week you will visit 2 times 1 or 2 different hides with the bird guide, the rest of the days you will visit yourself 2 other bird hides.

If you tell us your wishes we will organize a perfect week for you.

5 January  to 1 March:

  • 2 days with the private guide to bird hides BSP5 or BSP7 at the steppes of the Alentejo region with chance to photograph Great Bustards, Common Cranes, Iberian Magpie and others.
  • 2 days you will visit on your own bird hide BSP1 on our property.
  • 2 days you will visit on your own bird hide BSP3 at the edge of a lagoon.

1 March to 30 April:

  • 2 days with the private guide to bird hides BSP5 or BSP7 at the steppes of the Alentejo region with chance to photograph the Lek of the Great Bustards, Iberian Magpie and others.
  • 2 days you will visit on your own bird hide BSP1 on our property.
  • 2 days you will visit on your own bird hide BSP3 at the edge of a lagoon.

30 April to 15 July:

  • 2 days with the private guide to bird hide BSP6 at the steppes of the Alentejo region with chance to photograph European Roller, Lesser Kestrel, European Bee-eater and other species that come along.
  • 2 days you will visit on your own bird hide BSP1 on our property.
  • 2 days you will visit on your own bird hide BSP3 at the edge of a lagoon.

1 September to 1 December:

  • 2 days with the private guide to bird hide BSP2 at the lagoon of Santo André in the Alentejo region with chance to photograph Glossy Ibis, Black-winged Stilt, Flamingo, various species of ducks, Common Snipe, Water Pipit, Caspian Tern, Red-knobbed Coot, Water rail, Purple Swamphen and other species that come along. If the water level in the lagoons is too low, we use make use of 2-person camouflage tents that are placed at the edge of the water.
  • 2 days you will visit on your own bird hide BSP1 on our property.
  • 2 days you will visit on your own bird hide BSP3 at the edge of a lagoon.

Per persoon per week with occupancy of:

  • Bird hides for 6 days
