You could fly either to Lisbon or Faro, it does not make much difference. Most people book our birding week which includes 2 excursions with me (Bert) in my 4 X 4, one half day trip (4 hours) to the lagoon of Santo André and a day tour (8 hours) to the steppes of the Alentejo region in Portugal. Included also is an information package with routes to the best birding areas and what you can see there and also 2 sessions in our bird hide at our property.
