Birdlist of Spotted Birds for Spea 07-10-2012 Alentejo Portugal

Today, as a volunteer for SPEA, I had an early start to visit 6 squares for the migration and wintering atlas which will be the first for Portugal. Volunteers have to visit areas of 100 square kilometers which are divided in 25 smaller squares of 4 square kilometers. In each block of 100 square kilometers 6 squares of 4 square kilometers have to be visited.

The visits are to be made on foot during exactly 30 minutes and stops are not allowed. You just have to write down the species and numbers you saw.

So I went on my way and below are the total results for the 7th of October 2012.
